What data we collect
When you request a booking or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, property address, postcode and any notes. During an assessment we may also collect details about the property and its occupants needed to produce the certificate or report.
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and arrange appointments.
- To carry out the assessment and lodge the EPC or report.
- To send you the certificate, invoice and any follow-up information.
- To keep records for tax, accreditation and legal purposes.
Lawful basis
We process your data because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (the assessment) and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accreditation requirements. Where required, we will ask for your consent.
How we keep your data safe
We store personal data on password-protected devices and cloud services with appropriate security. We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary, for example to lodge an EPC on the national register or to meet a legal request.
How long we keep your data
We keep assessment records and invoices for at least six years to meet tax and accreditation requirements, then delete them securely.
